The Scholarship Program.

Ten spots. One year at a time.

Available to families across the Texas Hill Country who qualify and are ready to be part of something meaningful.

What is the scholarship?

The Hill Country Children's Foundation awards up to ten partial scholarships per academic year to qualifying families seeking enrollment at Hill Country Day School. Each scholarship covers 50% of annual tuition, an award value of approximately $8,500 per child.

This is not a one-size-fits-all program. We look at financial need, your family's story, and your willingness to be an active part of our school community.

Who Can Apply.

To be considered for a scholarship, your family must meet the following criteria:

  • Your child is eligible for enrollment at Hill Country Day School (ages 8 weeks through Pre-K 4)
  • Your household income is at or below 300% of the current federal poverty level
  • You are willing to contribute 10 hours of community participation per semester
  • You submit a complete application by the published deadline

Scholarships are limited to one per family. A separate sibling tuition reduction is available directly through Hill Country Day School.

Scholarships may not be combined with CCS state tuition assistance payments.

What is the participation requirement?

Ten hours per semester. That is roughly one hour a week during the school year.

What that looks like is up to you and us together. Some families help in the classroom. Some bring a skill -- photography, carpentry, cooking. Some support events. There is no single right answer. The point is that you show up and you are part of it.

We believe the best schools are built by the people in them. This is how we put that belief into practice.
